There are several ways you can stay in touch with Magnolia:

Mailing lists

ListSubscribePostUnsubscribeDigestArchives
The newsletter or announce list is a must. Very low traffic, read-only list with posts about new releases, training and other Magnolia-related activities.postn/apostpostCommunigate or Nabble
The users list is dedicated to all users of Magnolia. Please help others and share your experiences !postpostpostpostCommunigate or Nabble
The developers list is where Magnolia developers exchange information and statuses. Questions related to developing with Magnolia still belong to the user list. This list currently also receives all Jira notifications.postpostpostpostCommunigate or Nabble
All subversion commit mails go to this list.postn/apostpostCommunigate or ViewVC

When you post, please note :

  • We only accept plain text email on this list. If you are using Outlook, by default that requirement will not be met. Please read Configuring Mail Clients to Send Plain ASCII Text to understand the issues with non-ASCII mail and what you can do about it. Even if that is the only thing you get out of visiting magnolia.info, it will be worth it.
  • Please check the archives first. Your mail may not get answered if it has been answered before.
  • Please trim your replies. Remove anything that is not directly relevant to your reply when responding. We all have the previous mail in our inbox, there is no need to have the whole thread copied into each reply.
  • Please be concise - provide as much detail as necessary and as little as possible to state your case.
  • If you want to get the most out of the mailing list, take the time to read How To Ask Questions The Smart Way, a great article by Eric S. Raymond. Its the best article on the web about asking questions on mailing lists bar none.
  • All information and answers are provided by volunteers. Commercial support packages are available through partners of the Magnolia partner network.
