How to update the license key?

Updating your license key

The first time you start up Magnolia (Enterprise Edition), you will be asked to register your copy of Magnolia. The first time you register, you will be provided with a demo license key that is valid for 60 days, which you can enter directly into the form provided when you try to access Magnolia.

For updates of the license, there is no custom GUI. You have to go to the Configuration section (you might need to log in as superuser to see the configuration section), select modules > enterprise > license and enter the correct key and owner (double click on the entry in the value column to edit it). There is no need to restart Magnolia for the new license to be taken into account, but you will need to refresh your browser's window for messages related to your outdated or invalid to be removed.
